We were so excited to cross back into our home state this week! It’s been about 8 months since the RV was on Georgia soil!

We are looking forward to being home for the holidays and spending time with friends and family!

This week we are in North Georgia for some meetings and then next week we head South to land for the holidays.

After a busy few weeks and with a lot coming down the pipe over the next couple of months, we are spending a few days in Virginia to do school, to work, and to hopefully enjoy some time outdoors! The Fall weather and leaves have been absolutely stunning in the Northeast this year!⁠

Stay tuned as we head further south over the next couple of weeks......we have Georgia on our minds! 🍁🍑🦃⁠

|| 17 || Last Monday we celebrated Chloe’s 17th

|| 17 ||

Last Monday we celebrated Chloe’s 17th birthday!

I don’t know why this birthday has landed so heavily on me…..maybe it’s because she’s going to be an adult on her own before we know it. For some reason, 17 just sounds so grown up!

I couldn’t be more proud of this beautiful young woman who made me a mom. She has exhibited great faith and trust in this season.

The only thing she asked for for her birthday was tickets to see Hamilton on Broadway. It made her daddy and I so happy to make it happen for her. The show was great! But a day with her in the city made my heart smile!

I’m so proud of you, Chloe! And I’m so thankful you are mine!!!

Washington, DC 🏛️⁠

Washington, D.C., is known as a worldwide hub of influence and the nerve center for U.S. policy and politics. Considered one of the most globally diverse cities in the world, people from across the globe live, work, study and represent their home countries in America’s capital city. But there’s more to the city than the powerful and educated elite who call it home.⁠
⁠
Inside the city you’ll find the other extreme. D.C. consistently ranks in the top 10 of cities having the highest population of homelessness. Marked by crime and poverty, the area has become an increasingly difficult place to live for many residents.⁠
⁠
The needs are great. The evangelical population in D.C. is only 12.5 percent. But a number of planters, pastors and partners hope to see this number increase and lives transformed significantly through church planting and evangelism efforts. ⁠
